For the record I did not stand behind my husband with a gun or even a divorce attorney and make him do this. I simply reminded him of the possibility of a long, COLD, winter.
That aside. I figure I better get my goals down here or I will have completely screwed this venture up before it has officially begun.
My biggest goal in all is just to finish something. So if I can keep up with this blog for a full year, I will be at least somewhat mollified. BUT, I'd also like to work on two other goals.
1) Finish our bathroom. I will attempt to post pictures of its current state, but I warn you, it's not for the faint of heart. I swore when we bought the house that the ugly 90's metro-blah wallpaper would be the first thing to go....we've lived in this house for over two years now...
I started just never finished the project. The result is tornado-ravaged chic.
2)I would love to write books. Not books that will someday have their own college course, but fun books. Books that are entertaining and fun to read. I have lots of ideas and have started a dozen times, but always quit after the third chapter. This year I will write everyday. Maybe just a sentence, but I will write everyday.
John and I will be posting our progress in this blog. Pics of the bathroom. Excerpts of the book. John's goal progress. And all the things that will undoubtedly try to keep us from completing this mission.
